Home Team Bbq in Aspen

I really do love Home Team. Its a great local restaurant. One problem I do have is that I often have my order get mixed up or wrong. I understand that it happens. I would highly recommend to anyone. If you are vegetarian you can still come here, they have a great black bean burger.

Very good place. It was a short wait and the people in there are a bit noisy but the BBQ is what I came for and what I stayed for. It was soo good and very juicy and not dry.

I’m surprised to say the BBQ here in Aspen is pretty damn good! Visiting from Texas I had some reservations about the cuisine but this place was stellar. Portions are HUGE, lots of value, food is high quality, special home made BBQ sauces (light). The food taste different with every Sauce. The staff here is so lovely and helpful they really made our dining experience amazing. All stars!!

Great food, best BBQ in the area. Love the outdoor space and live music. Yummy drinks. Recommend for brunch, lunch, and dinner!

Wings are a MUST have! Real Southern BBQ in Aspen! Truly amazing. A real hidden jem.

Not the best. Ribs and wings were below par, pork about average. Nice setting and the dining area was nice.

Fabulous barbecue- especially the brisket and pulled pork. Fun atmosphere and great service. We’d be back regularly if we didn’t live so far away!

A delicious mix of smoked and bbq fair where locals meet and kids play. TVs for games, great food and service. I will up it to 5 stars if they add a fish taco option please, please.

Fried Ribs...FTW

We had Home Team BBQ cater our wedding reception and it was a huge hit! Everyone loved the food! We had quite a few relatives/friends visiting from South Carolina (which is where Home Team is based out of), so they appreciated the food even more. Everything was delicious! The staff was on-time to get things set up. Everyone was very friendly, too! Highly recommend checking them out for a meal if you haven’t yet (or having them cater your event). Thanks again for all you did, Home Team!

Very good BBQ. I'm originally from South Carolina, and I'm a career chef, so I know good BBQ. HT has the best BBQ in the valley.

The food is always delicious, the cocktails are fun and funky and the service is on point!

If I could give it zero I would. Waste of money. We ordered the food and took it to our room. Opened it right away and the food was cold. There was no silverware or bbq sauce. The pulled pork was dry and tasteless. The portions were tiny as well for the hefty price you pay.

The tater tots are where it's at. My boyfriend who is not a big fan of tater tots or just potatoes in general LOVED them. Over all great experiences great food and good service!

Best BBQ in town! We love eating here. Everything is yummy, without the Aspen price tag. Favs: Tots, Fried Mac n cheese, Hometeam salad, Brisket, Ribs, Smoked chicken, Burger and Baked beans.

Recommend this place. Overall, pretty cost effective. Good good. Variety of sauce and they are all good! View is sooo pretty!! Loved the scene while eating! Got the three meat platter sub with brisket and ribs. The fried ribs were great! Juicy, tender. The white sauce was tasty. Slice and chopped briskets are good too.Smoked chicken chili was delicious! Didn’t like the Mac& cheese. Not sure why it own so many awards...

Only been in town few days and already been back. Great atmosphere. Friendly service and meats are to die for. Relaxed and welcoming.

Rude experience. First the place was almost full with only like 2 servers . The server was rude when we just ordered 3 waters n one taco. Sorry I wasn’t starving and waiting on a flight. We walk very far to get there cause the parking lot was full. Any way the taco was good but staff needs to learn to appreciate every guest !

Dinned on the back porch patio looking up at the base of Buttermilk Mountain Ski Resort while staying at The Aspen Inn. Social distancing was in effect due to the pandemic. The view can't be beat and the food and service were excellent. Wife and I split an order of pulled pork which was very tasty and the sides were solid. Would do it all over again without a second thought.

Omg!!!! The barbecue is so awsome!!.The ambiance..is cool...you can watch the slopes.or the people..you choose..Friendly staff...but could improve on that....The ribs.are perfect.liked them better than the pulled chickem The 1/2 chicken was cooked to perfectionSince you park.your car you will smell heaven..and it delivers!!!

Was really looking forward to trying this BBQ after seeing the reviews. Ordered take out on July 4th. When I got it home and opened up I was so disappointed. The ribs were literally the driest, nastiest ribs I’ve ever been served they were completely inedible, I have never seen anything so poor from a BBQ place. The rest of the food was meh, kind of sloppily done and nothing that could even be called average. I wanted to Support local business during this time but it’s a two way street and this was really inexcusably bad food.

Good bbq at the base of buttermilk, large bar top with plenty of TVs for sports, when its warmer out there is a nice open grass area for the kids to run around while enjoying a beer on the patio

Pretty bad experience, even for a grab and go breakfast burrito. Ordered the burrito, gave waitress 10$ to pay for 8.50$ burrito. She put the 10 in her pocket, went and got the burrito and handed it to me. I just stood there and she asked if I needed something else. I said I'd like my change. She through a dollar at me and said "here if it means that much to you". I guess she felt entitled to that tip for a grab and go burrito and I wasnt going to get a say on whether to willfully tip her or not. I'll request to sit in her section when I come back. I will save a bunch in tip money for sure

Good atmosphere for anyone, not too uptight. I had the 1/2 fried chicken, which is apparently a Tuesday special. It was A LOT of food. Most people could get away with the 1/4 chicken. Tater tots and pepper mayo sauce is delicious. Definitely would recommend the place even though it is a bit of a drive outside Aspen. Only downside is the country music. That isn't worth deducting a star for though.

this restaurant and bar is an excellent place to hang out right at the bottom of the slopes would highly recommend the food and wide beer selection.

yes please. a bit pricey but well worth it. takes a while to get seated but once you are, service is fast and prompt.

First time eating there after everyone said it was awesome. And YES, it was awesome. The food was amazing, found the best dark beer I've ever had, the scenery was impeccable, and Jake was so informative and courteous!!!Bammm!!! Recommend them...Read another person complaining about portions. Might I recommend Golden Coral if you want to gorge yourself.

Base of the mountain solid BBQ! Nachos are amazing

Brisket was tender and juicy. Mac N Cheese was tasty. Very cool Widespread & Grateful Dead vibe.

Excellent BBQ, especially the flash fried ribs which our excellent waitress told us about!

Our skepticism was assuaged for a hotel restaurant. Home Team BBQ offers terrific meats. If you're there on Thursday make sure to order pastrami, which is smoked to perfection. Their brisket and ribs are juicy and tender; we had go four happy diners.

Highly recommend coming here! Everyone we interacted with was so welcoming and accommodating, and the food was fantastic - very high quality and flavorful, and for a good price. Be careful though, because they are LARGE portions. I had the burger (includes 2 patties) and barely made it through half of it. They make great leftovers, though! Great covered outdoor seating area with views of the slopes.
